Darren Lucas-White joins to talk about his time in Augusta, the Benedict win and more

Thanks to Get Up Productions, every week this season we will have the pleasure of going in depth with Augusta University head coach Dip Metress about the latest in Jaguar basketball. Episode 3 of the Dip Metress Show also features guest Darren Lucas-White, the fifth year senior who has played a meaningful role in two Peach Belt Conference championships, a Southeast Region Tournament championship and last season's NCAA Tournament runner up finish during his three full seasons in Augusta.

Since Tuesday’s Taping

Since Tuesday's taping, No. 2 ranked Augusta earned an 80-76 overtime road win over Catawba Wednesday. The Jaguars improved to 5-0. Tyshaun Crawford continued his dominant play by scoring 21 points, snagging 13 rebounds and swatting away 5 shots. Miguel Arnold scored 19 points, including 3 three pointers in the second half. Darren Lucas-White added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists before fouling out with 3 minutes left in regulation. Tyree Myers scored 12 points, 4 assists and 3 steals, and he made the go ahead bucket in regulation (which was answered to force overtime), as well as the one in overtime. David Viti also scored 12 points, and he iced the game with 2 made free throws with 4 seconds remaining. And Timmy Sellers made a key defensive play on Catawba's final possession to force a turnover and preserve Augusta's lead before Viti put things out of reach.
