Georgia High School Association basketball expert Kyle Sandy joined Chad for episode 3 of the Augusta Sports Report. After some programming notes about what you can find from @AugBball and the Augusta Sports Report, and a rundown of the notable games during the early part of the season, we listen to Kyle’s story about how he built his site as the paper of record for high school basketball in Georgia. And we talk about how the Augusta area’s best boys and girls teams fit into the overall statewide race.

We taped this Tuesday morning, and since the recording, Cross Creek throttled River Bluff 80-53 at River Bluff; Grovetown topped Butler 67-64 in overtime at Butler. And Augusta Christian defended its home floor with a 68-52 win over Jones County.
